What is EFT therapy ?

EFT ( Emotional freedom technic ) is a tool combining cognitive statements and specific acupressure points. They use the same meridian as in acupuncture treatment, and contrary to acupuncture, we use the fingertips instead the needles. EFT works directly on the body’s meridian system, energetic circuits, which have been fundamental to Chinese medicine for more than 3000 years.

How does it work?

In our brain, we have different parts, and one of them is involved during EFT therapy; the amygdala. It’s the stress center and aims to detect whether an event is a threat or not. The manual stimulation signals the amygdala and decreases his threat response. Then, the specific statements connect to the emotional perturbance and the event.

Thereby, after the sessions, you will still remember the events, but you will have fewer or no longer have the negative emotions connected to them. It changes how the brain responds to fearful situations.

You might think it looks like woo-woo therapy, but many scientific studies have shown MRI changes in the brain before and after treatment. Over time, we have seen many psychologists have started to use this powerful tool, and I have noticed wonderful results in my life with this tool.

EFT benefits:

· Reduce stress and bring calm. It helps to go toward the hardships more easily and be less reactive.

· It’s a soft tool, perfect for those who are very sensitive and don’t react well to other therapies.

· We don’t need a lot of sessions because it’s efficient. Thereby, it’s not expensive over time.

· Can use with kids or adults.

· Increase the deltas waves. There created during deep sleep. Deep sleep helps you clear out the events occurred during the day. The delta waves help to eliminate the negative charges from our memory. It removes the danger label in our brains for certain events.

· Help for many issues, such as; depression, anxiety/stress, phobia, physical pain, compulsion, mourning, limited belief, sleep issue, weight issue and repetitive schema.
